My name is Jennifer Monsos. In 1999, I smoked two packs of cigarettes a day, and weighed 50 lbs more than I do now. In 2003, I completed the Whistlestop Marathon in Ashland, Wisconsin! in 2013, I finished the Missoula Marathon and I have done a bunch of half marathons, walking or running. yogafitnesswellness….has grown from a desire to help others achieve wellness. After practicing yoga for a while, I decided I would like to offer classes to others in our small town. It has taken time to get people to understand the benefits of yoga, but those who attend regularily love the feeling they get from a class.
After losing 50 lbs and training for a marathon, I decided I also wanted to offer others the opportunity to be healthy. There is really no mystery to good health. Good eating habits along with regular exercise is really all it takes. A commitment is the important thing. Once you feel good, you won’t want to go back to your old ways. I am a E-RYT-200-(Experience-Registered Yoga Teacher) through Yoga Alliance and I am also a Registered Yoga School for 200-RYT. I own a Farm to Table catering business. We raise our own chickens and produce and coordinate with local farmers too! Fitness and good food are my business!

Jennifer has been teaching yoga since 2002, having taught over 3500 hours of classes. She has trained new teachers and is constantly working on updating her skills. She also opened Tansy’s on Main in 2013, providing healthy, locally sourced meals to hungry travelers. Now providing delivered meals, catering and a food stand for areas surrounding Alma, Wisconsin and Wabasha and Winona Minnesota.
